Storyboard week - 1st assignment

Here is the first storyboard assignment i did in my storyboarding class


Design 2 - Atlantian weapon

To start the year of 2013 we had the second term of design, which this time takes on Form, volume and space. It was a very hectic week with a lot of all night projects and I had a lot of fun! The results isn't yet satisfying for me so I have being trying to post render my pierces the best i can in my spare time. 
The first day was to design an Atlantian weapon. The process was quite complicated, started to designing a shield to end up designing a atlantian mech in the last minute. Personally I am not fond of the design. It looks like a cheap rip off of "War of the Worlds" but i liked the idea of a  crap walking teslacoil that also swims like an octopus underwater.After the week i got better at rendering so the retouch made a huge difference on the final product. I give you.... THE TESCRAPCOILIPUS

First time TV-PAINT

So right before the Christmas holidays, we were introduced to tv-paint, an animation software we will use in the future instead the traditional paper animation. I was a bit sick during that week so it wasn't my best week, but i had a lot of fun and frustration to learn this new tool. 

Our first assignment is to make a bird flying cycle we will use later for clean-up and after effects classes. (Rightclick to turn into a loop)



Next up is the frog and fly assignment. It is far from done, but i dont think i will have the time to finish it with my schedule at the moment. 

Christmas sketching!

Its 2013! I still have my Christmas holydays and have been sketching ALOT of great stuff!

First off ;"I survived 12-21-2012!"



Got the Brave concept art book and I have been copying a lot, but here is some of the Scots inspired from the world of Brave. 



 Watched the Hobbit again! I simply had to draw fantasy again! :D





Experimented with watercolour and ink on my sketchbook to see if the pages could handle it. Not a huge succes paper-wise, but at least i got a fun experiment with good ol Hellboy
